The first of many FDA-approved supplements will be available to treat impotence in men, a drug-maker has announced.

The company’s announced the use of a proprietary blend of testosterone, a powerful erectile dysfunction drug, to treat impotence in men.

The agency said it has received several reports of men who were prescribed a testosterone-boosting supplement with a prescription.

The supplements were designed to be “safe and effective,” according to the company, and were approved by the FDA.
